According those close to the family, the Abuja home of Mr. Yusuf Ali has become a sea of visitors as many who have heard had come to commiserate with the easy-going and brilliant Lawyer.

We gathered that Nurudeen who is based in the United Kingdom reportedly had Malaria and was undergoing treatment when the matter got complicated-and he was pronounced dead!

Family members told us that Nimah, who has always wanted to settle down with a man of her dreams had seen in Nurudeen an ideal man, somebody was very loving and also God-fearing. The duo had been looking forward to a future together until this sad news-and she had been inconsolable.

As committed Muslims, we are told that Mr. Yusuf Ali, Nimah and their in-laws have taken it in their stride and accepted the situation as the wish of Allah-but each passing day, they still wished it never happened .

In an interview in the current edition of Ovation International Magazine (www.ovationinternational.com) ,  Nurudeen had said, ” I was in Lagos sometime ago and it was pretty obvious that I was searching for a wife. Mrs. Adetunji  is a very close friend of my mother and she did the match making. We started talking in February and we saw each other during the months of March, July and August. We dated for six months.

‘’What really attracted me was that she met the three criteria I had set for myself. She is a good Muslim, from a good family and hails from Kwara State.”

On her part Nimah revealed  “It is quite funny and interesting. I was in London for a few years and throughout those years,, for some reasons, luck never brought us together. We met a few months ago after I left England. We were introduced to each other, by a mutual family friend, Mrs. Adetunji we got talking and things kicked off from there.

“I saw his pictures first but when he came to Nigeria , primarily to see me, the first thing that struck me was that he is a very good Muslim. What a lot of women should look out for are God-fearing men.

Asked what she would like for herself and husband her reply was “ As cliché as it sounds, I would love to have a happy family. Challenges would come but I believe we would scale though them” Unfortunately, death struck a fatal blow that has changed the course of her life forever!
