Super Eagles Camp in disarray as team Lands Brasilia

Serious trouble is brewing in the camp of the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles following the players’ demand for appearance fees.
Sources said that the team which has arrived Brasilia  is divided as Captain joseph Yobo had tongue-thrashed some of his colleagues for demanding that a percentage of the appearance fees bé paid when it was not part of the initial agreement with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)
Yobo had explained that based on his previous experience  appearance fees are usually  paid after release of funds by the world football governing body, Fifa and it usually comes about four months after the tournament.
This explanation. Reportedly did not go down well with his colleagues who pointedly accused him of abandoning his troops to take sides with the NFF.
We gathered the same explanation were given to the players by Kanu and Victor Ikpeba but they stood their ground until the Senate President assured them that he would speak to the President to make an extra-budgetary request to meet their latest demands.
In deed, we gathered that the President had spoken to the team and promised that they will get all payments due them.
So far the players have earned 20,000 USD as bonuses in the group stage according to NFF officials.
NFF officials have described the demands of the players as strange and an unneccesary distraction which may cost the players their place in history. Their Coach Stephen Keshi was visibly angry when he got wind of his players’ antics and when even his explanation fell on deaf ears.
Nigeria will bé playing in a world cup quarter finals for the first time if the team overcomes the French on Monday.
