Peter Obi Steps Down as APGA BoT Chairman In a letter addressed to the National Secretary of the APGA at their Abuja annex yesterday, The former governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi has said that he would be resigning as leader and BoT chairman into which he was appointed in January. According to him, the appointment was yet to be ratified by a Convention of the party as stipulated by the constitution several months after it was made and he also cited family and personal reasons, but did not give details. He however wished the party well in her future endeavours, reiterating the fact that he remains an ordinary APGA member. Obi’s media aide, Mr. Valentine Obienyem confirmed the resignation yesterday.
