Femi Taiwo is one those young Nigerians who is not sitting around complaining about  the system or the poor infrastructure.  The youngman actually loves problems because it gives him an opportunity to shine by finding solutions.
Femi, 24, is the Chief Executive Officer  of INITS, an IT Consulyancy and Software Development company that built the software that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) uses to run Nigerian elections.
Femi reporedly offered the software free of charge to INEC at a time when people were making billions getting myriads of contracts from the agency.
According to Dele Tejuoso, who has been promoting coding and Software development among Nigerian youths, Femi presented the software for free because it is second nature for him to solve problems.

Again, Femi was lucky that INEC had another visionary young person who was in charge of technolgy at the time.
He gave INITS a chance to prove themselves.

Femi was born in the early 80s, studied Mathematics and Statistics in the University of Lagos, worked for a software company for 3 years and started INITS with a co-founder in 2009.

According to him, he worked for 2 years with one of the topmost software solution providers in Nigeria, got transferred to the group company in Ghana and got to work with even more amazing people for another 1 year before deciding to return to Nigeria to launch a start-up with a friend – Ronke Domingo who I had met a couple of years earlier. We started out building websites and moved to providing custom software solutions for various companies, mostly based on referrals”
After two election circles, INITS, we are told,  is now ready to deploy this software to other African Countries-and that is certainly when Femi and his team will be smiling to the bank-and possibly getting the much needed world acclaim.
