Ifeanyi Ubah regrets investment in Jonathan

Businessman and Founder of the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN), Mr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has expressed some regret for the huge investment in the re-election bid of  President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

Speaking in an interview with Vanguard Newspapers, Ubah, who was asked if he had any regrets for spending so much on the President stated “ You don’t invest and wish that the investment would go the way this one went. The election has come and gone, I would not like to open the old wounds especially when the main actor in the whole episode has conceded defeat.  We have to move ahead at this juncture. We must unite to move Nigeria forward. Jonathan has conceded defeat to General Buhari.

If you are in a boxing ring, and your coach throws in the towel, that is the end of the game. I have chosen to respect his position and indeed that of Nigerians, even though it would have pleased me greatly to see Jonathan win”

Ubah who runs Capital Oil revealed that there was no government funding in the operations of the Transformation Ambassadors and that as a non-governmental organisation, it had donations from a lot of friends. He noted that post-Jonathan, TAN will not die, it will begin the establishment of industrial parks in the across Nigeria.

He urged the Buhari-led Government not to threat Ndigbo well, advocating that the South East deserves an additional state to be at par with the other geopolitical zones.

While offering a hand of fellowship to the incoming President, Ubah stated that no court in Nigeria has convicted him of any subsidy fraud crime, adding that he was a businessman whose hands are clean!
