Baba Sala survives death scare

The ace comedian, Senior Apostle Moses Adejumo, a.k.a. Baba Sala, who had  since last week been receiving treatment at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, for illness associated with old age, was has been discharged by the hospital management.He is still alive and kicking!

The octogenarian, who turned 80 few months ago, had been rushed to the hospital from Ilesa, Osun State, last week. he was discharged around 3.47 pm to the warm embrace of his family members after rumours had emerged that he had died even while at UCH.
According to a Facebook message from one of his children, Emmanuel, “To the glory of God, my daddy has been discharged from the hospital today (Monday). Want to use this opportunity to thank all friends and fan of my daddy for the love, care and concerns. He actually thanks everyone for all comments and love.”
On Saturday members of the family of the ace comedian expressed their displeasure over constant rumour of the death of their father in the media.
On Sunday afternoon, some private security men were stationed at the entrance of the South West 3 ward where the octogenarian was receiving treatment. Several family members, including his children and one of his wives said they were advised to stay outside the ward so that the hospital medical team would have enough time to observe the health of the comedian.
Earlier on Thursday, the Chief Medical Director of the UCH, Prof. Temitope Alonge had said through the Public Relations Officer of the institution, Mr Deji Bobade, that the hospital management would be responsible for the hospital bill of the comedian. All is now well, and he has gone back to enjoy a much deserved rest in the arms of close friends and family members.
